Disposition is regarded as highly as brains and ability. These horses literally live with cows, on the same grass grazed by our herd of commercial and registered beef cattle. He has not bred any mares at this point, we just didn't want to rule out any options. He has been started under saddle and is progressing nicely. He will probably finish out to be 15.2 and 1300lbs. Time will tell. He seems to be smart and trainable. He has a gentle disposition and nice black color. He has been ridden some in the feedlot and has been roped off of. T.J. roped heifers and drug them out of the pen on him. He is not a finished rope horse but he sure handles it nicely. He has been ridden outside by our 14 year old son John. Chex Diamond was started under saddle as a 2 year old, real quiet with good disposition. We have several of his siblings in our brood mare band and saddle horse string. He will have good size, will be big enough to rope off of and has plenty of athletic ability. He has the potential to make a really solid ranch or arena horse. This line of horses has lots of speed and agility,but will calm back to a walk easily when asked. He is being started under saddle a bit early just because he is so big. I expect he will be capable of doing great things. I think he has a superb conformation that gets better as he ages. He stands out and will get you noticed. He is bred to rein but he is an athlete that could go any direction. Smart Little Piney is an incredible athlete and has the potential to make an awesome rope horse. This colt started real nice and is very smart and athletic. He has nice moves and lots of quick speed. He is a future performer and a steal at $4500.00. This is one the trainer really likes.
